After 38 years of distinguished service in the fire service — including 22 years as Fire Chief — Bryon Fox retired as one of the most influential leaders in the history of the district. As the fourth Fire Chief in district history, Chief Fox leaves behind a legacy defined by steady leadership, strategic growth, and unwavering commitment to community safety. Following his time as Fire Chief, Bryon continued serving the district as Fire District Administrator and consultant to the Board of Directors and Fire Chief. In this role, he provided invaluable institutional knowledge, strategic guidance, and continuity of leadership, helping shape policy, fiscal planning, and long-term organizational development.
