The Rolling Hills Fire Protection District Board of Directors is pleased to announce the promotion of Assistant Chief James Baker to the rank of Fire Chief, effective February 1.
Chief Baker assumes this role following the retirement of Chief Bryon Fox, who concludes 38 years of dedicated and distinguished service to the district.
Chief Baker’s education, extensive public safety background, and leadership in the implementation of technology in both fire and EMS response have played a key role in the district’s continued growth and its ability to provide the highest level of service to residents and visitors.
As Fire Chief, Chief Baker is dedicated to advancing the district’s operational readiness, upholding the highest standards of service, and fostering strong partnerships with community members and regional public safety agencies.
The Board of Directors congratulates Chief Baker on his promotion and extends its sincere gratitude to Chief Fox for his many years of distinguished service.
