Members of Rolling Hills Fire traveled to Alabama to pick up the newest edition to our fleet. After a 1500 mile round trip, we were able to bring home our new Ferrara Ladder Truck. With our current ladder truck being 30 years old it was time to replace with a newer truck. Our crews have spent the last month equipping the new truck with everything from hose to extrication tools. We are happy to report as of 8 a.m. this morning the new Rolling Hills Ladder 1 is officially in service!
